A friend of mine is in Eastern Canada sitting by the ocean breeze (at least she was a friend of mine) … I’m sitting in a darkened office, blinds closed, with a fan blowing slightly into the room. I am working away at a project that I am excited about … my brain feels a little like it’s been fried by the heat … my attention level has dropped … and my focussing is waning.
On Purpose Consulting is now a registered business in Ontario … I am working with a talented graphic designer who is creating my logo … I have it down to one I like, and with a few tweeks, we’ll be there. Yet, as I get closer to this dream, I feel fear in my belly. Rather than running away and avoiding my passion, I am choosing to feel the fear and do it anyway!
It’s amazing that by simply focussing on my passion for On Purpose Consulting, I am feeling more inspired and motivated to work away at the details of my project. Often by taking a few moments to remember what the central value and passion is for you, you can re-ignite your enthusiasm for a project.
So, next time you get stuck, let me suggest you take a deep breathe, close your eyes and remember what drives you from within … then connect that internal inspiration to the current work project and ignite your human capital!
